About the Incubit for seeds program
“Incubit for Seeds” is an AI co-development incubation program for individuals or teams with a high level of expertise in a specific industry.
This program is a 6 to 18 month AI research and development project bringing together the ideas of experts and Incubit’s experience and technical knowledge of AI to realize the idea for implementation. By developing an AI prototype in combination with formulating a product concept, the program allows participants to make concrete steps towards commercialization.

Individuals or teams that meet the following conditions are eligible for support
- An Individual or team before establishing a company, if after establishment, the CEO or a team including the CEO
- The data necessary for developing AI is already available in a usable state, or there is a prospect of a data acquisition method, including cooperation of data providers or ideas of data collection methods.

- Expert in a specific industry and highly specialized
- Can fully commit to the realization of the vision
Time line and How the Program Works
The biggest benefit of the project, is that the person or team chosen will receive technical support for AI development, in order to commercialize their ideas of how to solve a problem. Incubit and the person or team chosen will develop an AI system all the way to prototyping, as a co-development project.
Creating a road map (2 to 4 weeks)
Will decide on scope based on the knowledge of the person or team chosen and technical feasibility
AI system prototyping (6 to 18 months)
Ready the Training Data and prototype the AI system according to the road map
Product Concept
Make a product concept alongside of development.
Towards the end of the project based on the results of joint R&D, we can support the foundation of the company, in-housing the development team after installation and fund procurement support through introduction of VC etc.
How the Program Started
Incubit for Seeds is a program born from the desire to solves problems together creating a positive impact in society by people with the vision of creating new solutions by combining AI and their own specialized fields encountering Incubit technology.
As AI technology development speed increases, the hope of utilization in a wide range of industries is expected, but it is still hard for people with specific knowledge of a specific industry getting the necessary technical support as people who have the technological knowledge is scares. Also when technical feasibility is unknown, it is quite impossible to receive funding or development or establishment, there for remaining as “just an idea”. This reality is congesting the AI technology’s social implementation and innovation promotion
Incubit has worked in the fields of medicine, bio tech, space, geology and manufacturing with notable achievements along side the leading companies in Japan.
We started the project with the aim to solve the issue stated above, and increase innovation, by investing the cultivated AI technology into the individual and teams with a vision and passion.
